Established in 1983, Ryland Horticulture Limited has continually expanded and now provides a complete Tree & Landscape Service. Based in the York area, with a nursery at Shipton-By-Beningbrough, we provide a service throughout the North East.
Rylands are totally committed to achieving the highest standards yet remaining cost effective. We are Approved Contractors of the Arboricultural Association & The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) & members of The Royal Forestry Society & The International Society of Arboriculture.

All staff are college trained & hold further N.P.T.C. arboriculture competence certificates. Use of pesticides is called for on certain contracts. Key members of staff hold N.P.T.C. certificates in the use of pesticides for any application.
Public & employee safety is high on our list. All teams include a qualified first aider, with individual & vehicle first aid kits. All staff use the full complement of chain saw protective clothing whilst working. We are continually seeking to improve the standard of equipment available.
